About the Creator

Hi, I'm Zack Stewart, a UX designer, researcher, and passionate improviser. I began my improv journey in 2023, excited but quickly overwhelmed by the challenge of finding the right games to truly improve my skills. There are so many games out there, but knowing which ones to use, when, and for what purpose wasn't always clear. I wanted to make it easier for others to discover, learn, and grow through improv.

Why The Improv Collective?

Drawing on my background in UX design and research, I set out to create a resource that would be both comprehensive and easy to use. The Improv Collective was launched in May 2025 as a way to help improvisers of all levels find the perfect games for their needs, whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your practice. My goal is to make improv more accessible, enjoyable, and effective for everyone.
