Summary
Games from a Hat is a regular scene shaken up by random rule changes. Write a bunch of improv game names on slips and drop them in a hat. As the scene runs, a Director draws a name and calls it out, and the players instantly switch to that game's rules. Those rules stick until the next name is drawn. Speed things up as you go. Just stick to games that need no setup or explanation.
